PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic music device, and a program for realizing its control method, capable of simplifying operation procedure for reproducing a trial content, and expanding a utilizing aspect of the trial content and a regular content. PSOLUTION: An electronic music device stores a streaming content in which streaming delivery is performed in a temporary memory region 7a, while either music score display or performance lesson which is indicated by a user is automatically performed. When the user directs reproduction of a download content, the download content and its management information are read out from a content file 102a and a management information file 102b, and download delivery to the electronic music device is performed. The download content in which download delivery is performed is stored in a storage medium 10a in an external storage device, and thereafter, it is loaded in the temporary memory region 7a and the download content is automatically reproduced by the electronic music device.
