METHOD FOR MEASURING AIR TURBULENCE NEAR AN AIRCRAFT AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING AIR TURBULENCE NEAR AN AIRCRAFT AND AIRCRAFT. The present invention relates to a method and device for measuring air turbulence in the vicinity of an aircraft. The device (1) comprises a measurement system (2) including Lidares (L1, L2, L3, L4) mounted on an aircraft and designed to produce during the flight of the aircraft twelve airspeed measurements in the vicinity of the aircraft. measuring system (2) produces the said twelve measurements at four different measuring points each time along three predetermined geometric axes, and a central unit (3) which, through the measurements made by said measuring system ( 2) and from a predetermined first order mathematical model which describes an air velocity field based on twelve variables, determines an air velocity field in said vicinity of the aircraft, and which represents said air turbulence.
