In the present invention, there is disclosed a fusion protein formed by capsid and nucleocapsid protein (CANC) of Mason-Pfizer ape virus (M-PMV) and an inert peptide of FoxP3 protein, which is attached to CANC N-terminus. Further disclosed are virus-resembling particles formed in vitro from so modified protein, as well as the use of these modified particles for immunization of animal models and production of monoclonal antibodies.
