METHOD FOR SOWING WINTER WHEAT WITH EXTENDED ROW SPACING IN RAINFED CONDITIONS OF SOUTH OF UKRAINE

A method for sowing winter rape with extended row spacing in rainfed conditions of the South of Ukraine includes presowing soil cultivation, sowing. After harvesting a preceding crop (of winter wheat) the straw is shredded up to particles of at least 5 cm, the shredded straw is scattered across the field, the stubble is ploughed, autumn plowing or disking are carried out with mulching the soil for a depth of 6-8 cm, presowing cultivation is performed, treated seeds are sown with extended row spacing of 45 cm, a seed rate of 1.5 kg/ha in the optimum agrotechnical terms.
