Bioclimatic thermal insulation for the outside of both new and existing buildings and enclosures, consisting of a multilayer structure whose components offer a high resistance to heat transfer and which also allow water vapour to pass, preventing condensation of the said water vapour on the inside or outside walls of the building or any of the joints between the successive layers. The insulation includes a layer of thermally treated black cork sheets, fixed by a layer of permeable adhesive and mechanical fixings which may be necessary in some cases, and a layer of lime mortar, in which is a mesh of fibreglass. As an option, the insulation can have a external finishing layer, all the layers being permeable.IMAGE
