A processing arrangement for processing at least one new biopsy image associated with at least a portion of an anatomical structure, the processing arrangement being adapted to perform the steps of: receiving first information associated with the at least a portion of the anatomical structure , in which the first information is obtained through an optical coherence tomography system and corresponds to the characteristics of the image; receive second information associated with the at least a portion of the anatomical structure, in which the second information is obtained by a microscopy system and corresponds to the characteristics of the image of a histopathological image; generate third information corresponding to an identified relationship between the first information and the second information; and apply the third information with predetermined histopathological scoring criteria to at least one new optic biopsy image.
