A tired gantry crane is provided with a crane body formed in the shape of an arch by a pair of legs and a beam extended between the legs, travel means provided to the lower ends of the legs, respectively, and traveling on a road surface using tires, a cable extended from the crane body and connected to an external facility, a cable reel provided to the crane body and taking up and paying out the cable, and a space distance holding means for maintaining a space distance between the travel means and that portion of the cable which is extended along the road surface.
