WATER TREATMENT AGENT FOR REMOVING POLLUTANT BY REINFORCING POTASSIUM PERMANGANATE WITH INTERMEDIATE MANGANESE

摘要

A water treatment agent for removing pollutant by reinforcing potassium permanganate with intermediate manganese is provided. The agent is composed of potassium permanganate and complexing agent. The agent may also be composed of potassium permanganate, complexing agent and inducer. The complexing agent can form coordinated complex with intermediate manganese, thereby reducing self-decomposition of intermediate manganese, enhancing utilization and reinforcing oxidizing capability of potassium permanganate to degrade organic pollutant. The inducer increases the rate of production of the intermediate manganese with high activity. Simultaneously it also enhances utilization and further reinforces oxidizing capability of potassium permanganate to degrade organic pollutant.
