Disclosed are: a Parkinson's disease model mouse which can develop the symptoms of Parkinson's disease reliably in the early stage; a process for producing the mouse; and a screening method and an evaluation method for a therapeutic agent for Parkinson's disease, each of which utilizes the mouse. The Parkinson's disease model mouse is characterized in that a gene encoding parkin is inactivated and IRP2 is expressed specifically in nerve cells.
