CELL PERMEABLE RECOMBINANT PROTEIN OF NANOG AND OCT4 CONTAINING KAPOSI FIBROBLAST GROWTH FACTOR 4-DERIVED MACROMOLECULE TRANSDUCTION DOMAIN FOR PROMOTING SELF-RENEWAL AND SUPPRESSING DIFFERENTIATION OF STEM CELLS
CELL PERMEABLE RECOMBINANT PROTEIN OF NANOG AND OCT4 CONTAINING KAPOSI FIBROBLAST GROWTH FACTOR 4-DERIVED MACROMOLECULE TRANSDUCTION DOMAIN FOR PROMOTING SELF-RENEWAL AND SUPPRESSING DIFFERENTIATION OF STEM CELLS
PURPOSE: A cell permeable Nanog and Oct4 recombinant protein containing kaposi fibroblast growth factor 4(kFGF4)-derived macromolecule transduction domain(MTD) is provided to introduce Nonog and Oct4 to stem cells, promote self-renewal and suppressing differentiation.;CONSTITUTION: An isolated cell permeable Nonog recombination protein contains Kaposi fibroblast growth factor 4(kFGF4)-derived macromolecule transduction domain(MTD) and human transcription factor Nanog. The kFGF4-derived MTD is fused at the N-terminal and/or C-terminal of human Nanog protein. The kFGF4-derived MTD has amino acid sequence of the sequence number 8. An isolated cell permeable Oct4 recombination protein contains kFGF4-derived MTD and a human transcription factor Oct4. The kFGF4-derived MTD is fused at the N-terminal and/or C-terminal of human Oct4 protein. The cell permeable Nanog and Oct4 recombinant protein promotes self-renewal of stem cells and suppresses differentiation of the stem cells. The stem cells are adult stem cells, placental stem cells, fetal stem cells or umbilical cord stem cells.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
