HYDROGEN STRORAGE DEVICE EMPLOYING NANO POROUS MATERIAL COMRISING AKALI EARTH METAL HYDRATE OR AKALI EARTH METAL CARBONATE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE NANO POROUS MATERIAL COMRISING AKALI EARTH METAL HYDRATE OR AKALI EARTH METAL CARBONATE
PURPOSE: A hydrogen storage device using a nano-porous material is provided to maximize a hydrogen storage rate, and to store the hydrogen by forming dihydrogen complex between an alkali earth metal ion and a hydrogen molecule. CONSTITUTION: A hydrogen storage device(1) includes a hydrogen storage container(10), a hydrogen injection pipe(30), and a discharge pipe(40). A nano-porous material(20) including alkali earth metal hydroxide or alkali earth metal carbonate is filled inside the hydrogen storage container. The alkali earth metal hydroxide is Ca(OH)2 or Mg(OH)2. The alkali earth metal carbonate is CaCO3 or MgCO3. The average pore size of the nano-porous material is 1~50 nm.
