PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method capable of comprehensively evaluating performance, such as the expandability, processing speed and soundness of a context-aware server by using a scenario. PSOLUTION: The performance evaluation system 100 of the context-aware server 200 includes a plurality of evaluation modules 100-1 to n, and each of the evaluation modules 100-1 to n includes: a scenario generating part 110 for storing a scenario including a user's behavior and a change in context; an event generating part 120 for outputting an event in accordance with the progress of the scenario stored in the scenario generating part 110; a service managing part 130 for receiving an input of an event from the event generating part 120 and transmits the event to the context-aware server; and a virtual service agent 140 for virtually performing a service in accordance with a command from the service managing part 130 and notifying the scenario generating part of the result.
