PURPOSE: A digital map manufacturing system improving accuracy of a digital map by checking and updating data error according to geographic information and topographic information is provided to correct error of geographic information by comparing measured geographic information with the existing geographic information applied in the digital map. CONSTITUTION: Plural geographic information collecting apparatus(100) and map information management apparatus(200) measure horizontal distance among installation points. The geographic information management apparatus updates topographic information or geographic information constituting a digital map according to geographic information provided from the geographic information collecting apparatus. The geographic information collecting apparatus is installed in the surface of the earth. The geographic information collecting apparatus measures horizontal distance with other adjacent geographic information collecting apparatus. The map information management apparatus comprises a topographic information DB(210) storing topographic image information and a geographic information DB(220) storing geographic information corresponding to the topographic information. The map information management apparatus comprises a collection information comparison module(230) comparing the geographic information of the geographic information collecting apparatus with the stored geographic information. The map information management apparatus comprises a renewal module(240) renewing the geographic information of the geographic information DB and a digital map output module(250) outputting the digital map.
