A method for measuring environmental contamination using polychaete glutathione s-transferase(GST) is provided to measure an expression degree of a GST gene in order to use the measured value as a bio indicator. A method for measuring environmental contamination using polychaete glutathione s-transferase(GST) comprises the following steps of: measuring an expression ratio of mRNA or proteins corresponding to the GST in an in vivo sample of polychaete; comparing the measured expression ratio to an expression ratio of mRNA or proteins corresponding to the GST in an in vivo sample of polychaete from an unpolluted area.
