PURPOSE: A measuring method of seed weights in crops using near infrared reflectance spectroscopy is provided to reduce time for analysis without requiring separate equipment used in weight measurement of existing seeds. CONSTITUTION: A measuring method of seed weights in crops using near infrared reflectance spectroscopy comprises following steps. Near infrared absorption spectrum is measured according to species. The near infrared absorption spectrum is compartmentalized into weight measurement prediction model development of the seeds and prediction model verification. According to the weight difference of the seed weight, wavelength in which the light absorbing capability difference of the near infrared absorption spectrum is generated is checked. The primitive absorption spectrum of the near infrared absorption spectrum of the seeds is obtained.
