PURPOSE: A garbage hopper of a garbage disposal system is provided to prevent bad odors emanating from the garbage disposal system. CONSTITUTION: A garbage hopper(1) of a garbage disposal system comprises a garbage tunnel. A garbage bag is passed through the garbage tunnel using an air inhaling unit. The garbage hopper is installed on top of a garbage throw tube which expands from the garbage tunnel. The garbage hopper comprises a cover(10), and an intermediate blocking plate(20). The cover opens and closes an opening in order to input the garbage or to block bad smell. The intermediate blocking plate is installed under the cover. The cover and the intermediate blocking plate both help block the garbage hopper.
