PURPOSE: A method for preparing fucoxanthin extract is provided to optimize extraction condition and to control moisture content of brown algae.;CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing fucoxanthin extract comprises: a step of drying brown algae in the dark place 20-40°C or treating with salt to control moisture content of brown algae at 9-70%; a step of extracting brown algae with 60-95% of organic solvent at 25-40°C for 6 to 24 hours and filtering; a step of decompressing the filtered liquid to concentrate; and a step of adding water to concentrate, stirring and filtering.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
