PURPOSE: A bulk thermoelectric material and a thermoelectric element thereof are provided to improve the performance of the thermoelectric material by using nano particle where conductive material is coated inside bulk crystalline thermoelectric material matrix.;CONSTITUTION: A thermoelectric material comprises a nano particle in which a bulk crystalline thermoelectric material matrix and conductive material are coated. A nano particle where the conductive material is coated is embedded within the bulk crystalline thermoelectric material matrix. The nano particle is a metal particle or a ceramic particle. The conductive material comprises the carbon. The coherence between the conductive material and the nano particle is greater than the interatomic bonding force within the crystalline structure of the thermoelectric material matrix.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
