PURPOSE: A heat recovery system of a furnace, and heat exchanger management method for a heat exchanger and waste gas using the same are provided to heat necessary preheated air by preventing the excess of the preheat air volume. CONSTITUTION: A heat recovery system of a furnace comprises a heat storage burner, a saving heat burner, an exhaust gas path(34a), a heat exchanger(30), a second exhaust gas path(34b), an induced draft fan(38). The saving heat burner uses the heated combustion air. The second exhaust gas path is installed between the exhaust gas path and heat exchanger. The induced draft fan transfers a part of the exhaust gas to the stack. The induced draft fan flows in the other part of the exhaust gas through the second exhaust gas path to the heat exchanger.
