PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for eliminating the side peak of the autocorrelation function of composite binary offset carrier(CBOC) signal are provided to reduce the error of position measurement by precisely performing a synchronization process.;CONSTITUTION: An autocorrelation function generator(11) generates an autocorrelation function by receiving CBOC signal from a CBOC signal generator(14). A correlation function divider(12) divides the autocorrelation function into individual correlation functions. A correlation function recombination unit(13) recombines the individual correlation functions in order to generate a side-peak eliminated correlation function.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
