PURPOSE: A solar energy generating apparatus equipped with a columnar light-focusing apparatus is provided to reduce the use of expensive solar cell modules by increasing energy density due to light concentration.;CONSTITUTION: A solar energy generating apparatus equipped with a columnar light-focusing apparatus comprises a columnar light-focusing apparatus(10), a solar cell module(11), and a device for moving a solar cell module. The columnar light-focusing apparatus has the shape of a rod. A focus is formed on the location which is apart from the back side as a focal distance by transmitting, bending, and focusing sunlight incident to the front side. Multiple rods are arranged on one plane at fixed intervals to be parallel. The solar cell module has the width which is narrower than the diameter of the rod of the columnar light-focusing apparatus. The solar cell module copes with each rod one by one. The solar cell module is arranged on the focal point of the rear side of the columnar light-focusing apparatus.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
