PURPOSE: A fail safe controlling method of an oil pump controller for a hybrid vehicle is provided to control an oil pump driver(OPD) by directly connecting a controller for an automatic transmission and an oil pump controller(OPU) using a hard wire pin when a can of a pump controller is broken.;CONSTITUTION: A fail safe controlling method of an oil pump controller of a hybrid vehicle comprises the following steps; deciding whether an oil pump system is off due to the malfunction of the oil pump controller and an electronic oil pump or a can communication line is off; deciding whether a hard wire is on or off when the can communication line is off; operating the motor of the electronic oil pump by directly connecting the controller of an automatic transmission and the oil pump controller using the hard wire; controlling a oil pump driver by adjusting the rotation number of the motor of the electronic oil pump; and making the motor of the electronic oil pump be off when the motor of the electronic oil pump is fail.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
