PURPOSE: A refrigerator and a shelf height adjusting device for the refrigerator are provided to diversify the space design in the refrigerator by removably mounting a shelf on a mounting frame of which height is adjustable.;CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a main body, a grille fan(200), a shelf height adjusting device, a plurality of mounting slots(210), a guide slot, a fixed shelf(130), and a variable shelf(140). The grille fan divides the storage space of the main body into front and rear parts. The shelf height adjusting device is provided for the rear of the grille fan to be vertically movable. The mounting slots are longitudinally arranged along both sides of the grille fan. The guide slot is longitudinally formed on the same line as the mounting slots. The fixed shelf is selectively installed at any one of the mounting slots and the mounting height of the fixed shelf is adjustable. The variable shelf is installed at the shelf height adjusting device by passing through the guide slot. In the state where the variable shelf is installed, the height of the variable shelf is adjustable.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
