PURPOSE: A modified variable error data normalized step size least mean square adaptive filter system is provided to restore a signal in an optimal state by improving a convergence speed.;CONSTITUTION: A first filter receives an input signal. The first filter has a first filter coefficient. A second filter has a second filter coefficient. An accumulator stores an error signal corresponding to the difference between the summation between output signals of the first filter and the second filter and a reference signal. The L-number of error signals are inputted to the second filter. The coefficients of the first filter and the second filter are controlled with a preset equation, respectively. The step size of the first filter is adjusted with the cross correlation between an existing input signal and a former input signal. The step size of the second filter is adjusted with the cross correlation between recent L number of error signals and former L number of error signals.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
