OPTICAL TRANSMITTER FOR OPTIMIZING INPUT DC BIAS VOLTAGE OF AN OPTICAL MODULATOR WITH DUO-BINARY MODULATION, AND A METHOD THEREOF, PARTICULARLY FOR CONVENIENTLY OPTIMIZING DC BIAS VOLTAGE THROUGH A SIMPLE DESIGN
PURPOSE: An optical transmitter for optimizing input dc bias voltage of an optical modulator with duo-binary modulation is provided to output a stable signal even in temperature change by maintaining a DC bias voltage at an optical point.;CONSTITUTION: A frequency divider(230) divides the frequency of a sine wave-type monitoring clock signal, and adds the divided monitoring clock signal to the DC bias voltage inputted to an optical modulator(220). A bias voltage compensator analyzes the signal converted into an electric signal after optical modulation, and compensates the DC bias voltage.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
