PURPOSE: A selenoprotein S antibody and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to use in western blotting and immunoprecipitation.;CONSTITUTION: An antibody which specifically binds to selenoprotein S comprises an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1 or 2. A method for manufacturing the antibody comprises: a step of injecting a peptide of sequence number 1 or 2; and a step of collecting antibody which specifically binds to selenoprotein S from an animal. The peptide contains cystein at N-terminal and is aminated at C-terminal. A gene encoding mutated selenoprotein S comprises TGC sequence which is substituted from TGA, selenocystein codon of selenoprotein S. A kit for diagnosing diabetes or inflammatory diseases contains the selenoprotein S antibody.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
