PURPOSE: A method for evaluating the bearing capacity and settlement of in-situ using a Standard Penetration Test device and a device for measuring the bearing capacity and settlement of in-situ are provided to improve accuracy of a measured value.;CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring the bearing capacity and settlement of in-situ using a Standard Penetration Test device comprises a split barrel sampler(10), a loading material lower plate(12), and a sinking measuring unit. The split barrel sampler has a front end ground bar and a head and is installed in the front end of a rod(4). The loading material lower plate is installed on the top surface of a knocking head(6) of the rod. The sinking measuring unit is inserted into the rod and measures the settlement of the split barrel sampler.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
