PURPOSE: An impact tester is provided to more safely maintain a facility including the cargo tank of an expensive LNG transport ship by predicting and evaluating the damaged degree caused by the impact on that facility.;CONSTITUTION: An impact tester comprises a compressor(110), a pressure chamber(120) and a barrel(133). The compressor supplies the compressed air. One side of the pressure chamber is connected to the compressor to accumulate pressure. The barrel is connected to the other side of the pressure chamber. The projectile loaded in the barrel fires by the operation of the discharge valve connected to the barrel.
