PURPOSE: A method of controlling pretilt angel of liquid using ion beam orientating method is provided to easily embody a liquid pretilt angle of very wide range reaching 1°-89°.;CONSTITUTION: A material film which will be orientated is formed on a substrate. The material film is and vertical alignment film. A polymer for vertical alignment layer is spin-coating on the substrate. An ion beam is blazed down on the material film.
