FLUX FOR ELIMINATING IMPURITIES FROM Al-Mn ALLOY MELT AND A METHOD FOR ELIMINATING IMPURITIES FROM Al-Mn ALLOY MELT USING THE SAME TO PREVENT THE EXHAUSTION OF FLUORINE GAS AFTER FLUX TREATMENT
PURPOSE: A flux for eliminating impurities from Al-Mn alloy melt and a method for eliminating impurities from Al-Mn alloy melt using the same are provided to effectively remove Fe element from Al-Mn alloy melt including NaCl, KCl and Na2B4O7.;CONSTITUTION: A flux for eliminating impurities from Al-Mn alloy melt comprises a mixture of NaCl and KCl 60~75wt.% and Na2B4O7 25~40wt.%. Na2B4O7 is obtained by calcining Na2B4O5(OH)48H2O for at least 2 hour at a temperature of 600~800C. The mixture of NaCl and KCl is obtained by mixing NaCl and KCl at the ratio of 1:1~1:1.5.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
