PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an alkali-free glass and the alkali-free glass are provided to control the leakage of ZrO2 from a refractory, and to prevent the light penetration loss during a mass-producing process.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an alkali-free glass comprises the following steps: mixing raw materials to form the alkali-free glass having the composition of SiO2-Al2O3-B2O3-RO; melting the raw materials; supplying the molten glass to a molding device; and molding the molten glass into a fixed shape.
