PURPOSE: An authentication method and a system thereof are provided to prevent the asynchronous of shared information due to the same authenticator by maintaining a plurality of sliding window slots every counter.;CONSTITUTION: An authenticator receiver(310) receives an authenticator and a counter related to the authenticator from a client. An authenticator verification part(330) verifies the received authenticator according to the bit value of the received counter bit. A sliding window shift part(350) shifts a sliding window when the verified authenticator, which exceeds the range of the sliding window, is counted. The sliding window shift operation is executed until the bit value of the counter related to the verified authenticator is located to the sliding window.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
