PURPOSE: An exponentially weighted movement average administration using a hardness searching method and a method thereof are provided to prevent the deterioration of performance by performing the design of a system for designing an EWMA control chart. CONSTITUTION: A solidity search unit(200) deducts the scaling factor and the weighted value through a gradient based search method based on an ARMA(Autoregressive Moving Average) model, a user setting initial weighted value, an initial scaling factor, a change pattern and size and user-specified in-control average run length. A comparison unit(300) compares the unusual condition average run length of AN EWMA control chart.
