PURPOSE: A pipe embedded with an optical fiber cable and a damage and leakage monitoring system using an optical fiber cable are provided to analyze changes in strain, vibration and temperature in real time using the optical fiber cable acting as a sensor.;CONSTITUTION: A pipe(40) for damage and leakage detection comprises an inlet, an outlet, a cavity in which gas or liquid flows, one or more optical fiber sensor cables(50) for detecting damage or leakage between the inlet and the outlet, and a coated layer(60) in which the optical fiber sensor cables are fixed.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
