PURPOSE: A bearing unit and a protective cover for a grass mower using the same are provided to block the inflow of foreign materials during a weeding work, to enable a user to exchange the bearing unit and the protective cover, and to prevent the damage of a cover plate for protecting a blade.;CONSTITUTION: A protective cover for a grass mower comprises: a cover member(110) which is supported in a driving shaft to be located in the lower part of a blade(10); a bearing unit(160) interlinking the cover member to the driving shaft of the blade; and a plate rotation support member which supports the cover member.
