PURPOSE: A device and method of manufacturing a large shaft flange of a marine engine are provided to improve precision of finished products and reduce the manufacturing period by using a die forging method. CONSTITUTION: A device of manufacturing a large shaft flange of a marine engine comprises die blocks(10), a die holder(11), an insert die(12), a ring die(13), an upper die(14) and a ring punch. The die block is installed in the upper side of a base. The die holder has hollow form. The die holder is installed in the upper side of the die block. The insert die is inserted inside the die holder and presses a processed material into the inside of the insert die. The ring die is installed in the upper side of the insert die and die holder. The upper die pressurizes the upper side of the processed material and forms the processed material with a shaft assembly and flange unit. The ring punch pressurizes the upper tip of the flange part processed by the upper die and forms a girth.
