Apparatus and method for In-situ Bioremediation of contaminated ground water

PURPOSE: An in-situ bioremediation device of contaminated underground water and a method thereof are provided to process contaminants without secondary contamination by diffusion or movement of the contaminants with application of in-situ technology. CONSTITUTION: An in-situ bioremediation device of contaminated underground water is located on a tube well installed on a restoration site of the contaminated underground water. The in-situ bioremediation device includes a reaction column including porous media in which toluene oxidation microorganism is adsorbed. A restoration method of the contaminated underground water comprises the following steps: installing a restoration device on a polluted filed; supplying toluene to the reaction column in which the contaminated underground water flows; and mixing the toluene and the contaminated underground water through a pump.
