METHOD OF PREDICTING left ventricular diastolic dysfunction at a syndrome of hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: method of prediction is realised by biochemical determination of higher fatty acids (myristic and arachidonic) in blood serum. After that ratio of acids (myristinic and arachgidonic) acid content to arachidonic fatty acid content is calculated (coefficient K) and if value of said parametre (K) is higher than 0.5 development of diastolic dysfunction of left ventricle in patients with thyreotoxicosis and hypothyreosis is predicted. Possibility of method application allows to carry out determination of development of left ventricle diastolic dysfunction in case of thyroid gland diseases and predict beginning of diastolic dysfunction of left ventricle before echocardiographic features appear.;EFFECT: simplification and extension of possibility to predict heart pathology in patients with thyreotoxicosis and hypothyreosis.;1 tbl, 4 ex
