FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to poultry keeping. Substance of invention consists in application of swollen vermiculite of Kovdorskoe deposit as mineral fodder additive for improvement of laying hens egg laying properties. Method for feeding of laying hens, according to which as fodder additive they use swollen vermiculite of Kovdorskoe deposit with particle size of 0.5-3.0 mm in amount of 3-5 wt % of the ration, besides fodder additive is added to ration of laying hens with mixed fodder starting from the 70^th day of life, periods of 60-90 days with pauses that equal their duration.;EFFECT: invention allows increasing egg laying qualities of laying hens.;2 cl, 6 tbl
