FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to techniques for producing emulsion explosive materials. Proposed is a method of preparing emulsion explosive material in a mixing-loading machine, involving loading into the said machine a inverted emulsion and granulated foamed polystyrene and mechanical mixture of the components. The granulated foamed polystyrene used is polystyrene with 1-5 mm granules and packed density of 30-100 kg/m3, and the inverted emulsion used is at temperature ranging from -30 to +40°C and dynamic viscosity ranging from 30000 to 100000 cP. The emulsion is obtained by mixing 80% aqueous ammonium nitrate solution at 65 - 75°C with a fuel mixture at 40 - 50°C, containing mineral oil and a mixed emulsifying agent, with subsequent cooling. The mixed emulsifying agent contains polyisobutene succinimide anhydride and a product of reacting distilled tall oil and sorbitol.
