FIELD: transport.;SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for remote radar registration of propeller screw acceleration to maximum rpm using two-dimensional (angle - distance) radar control that serves to ensure marine traffic safety. Invention proceeds from known physical fact that states that maximum linear acceleration of ship center complies with the period propeller screw accelerates to maximum rpm in. In compliance with proposed method, data on ship acceleration decision making is generated in marine traffic control system proceeding from permanent radar control over ship center linear acceleration which is defined by averaging coordinates of two maximally spaced apart echo-signal local sources selected from selected on ship bow and stern. Local sources are generated by various above-deck structures that provide stable radar echo signals. Observing linear acceleration of ship center, maximum of which complies with accelerating propeller screw to maximum rpm, allows ship control system to register, by remote means, acceleration of propeller screw to maximum rpm, that is, recording that acceleration to maximum rpm at early stage of emergent acceleration.;EFFECT: efficient anti-collision measures.;9 dwg
