The rail wheel has a wheel rim with a rail-specific outwardly running profile, and a rail wheel base body with a specific rail wheel design. One or more elastic/decoupled connecting links are separated from each other. An elastic/decoupled element consists of a permanently elastic material and a reinforcement. An inwardly circulating cavity is provided, whose internal pressure is variable by a valve. The cavity is filled with gaseous or liquid materials. The connecting links are designed in a tubular manner.
