The device has an endless belt (1) spatially deformed for reinforced elongation. The endless belt consists of two layers of material with different thermal expansions, where the layers are deformed over each other. A set of chambers is arranged at the endless belt. Shafts of deflection rollers (2) are mechanically coupled. The deflection rollers are driven in a cooler area by an auxiliary force. An expansion strand is guided by the chamber with warm medium (7) and a traction strand is guided by the chamber with cool medium (6).
