The system has an identification device (3) e.g. universal serial busmedium, connected to a point-of-sale device (1). The device (3) includes two input units e.g. numerical keypads, for inputting an actual value-actuation signal and a difference value signal assigned to a difference value, respectively. The signals are transmitted to an account managing device (19) over data links (5, 7, 13, 17) and authorize an access to accounts of the managing device for debiting and crediting the accounts with values, respectively. A control device controls business processes in the system. An independent claim is also included for a method for accessing an account of an account managing device.
