The invention relates to a device 1 for connecting a, preferably glued, book cover 2 and of a book block 3 with each other in the context of a continuous production process for printed products, in particular a books, with a cover gluing means 6 for the gluing of the book covers 2, an alignment device 7 for positioning and alignment of the glued book cover 2 and the associated the book block 3 to one another and a pressing device 8 for fritter away of the book cover 2 and of the book block 3 with one another, as well as such an alignment device 7, such a device 6 for the application of glue to book covers and such a pressing device 8.
