Physical variable i.e. mass, estimating method for different loadable motor vehicle, involves operating two same learning algorithms next to each other, where one of two algorithms is restored when variable to be estimated is changed
The method involves evaluating different driving conditions in case of estimation of mass of a motor vehicle and considering drive power and/or brake power in the learning algorithm by an electronic computing unit. Two same learning algorithms are restored independent of each other and operated next to each other, where one of the two learning algorithms is restored when the physical variable to be estimated is changed. The difference between current learning values is considered with the weighted sum of learning values of the two learning algorithms.
