The arrangement has a fixed mobile convergence (FMC) service controller (41) installed and operated outside of a mobile radio network (30), where the controller receives and controls mobile radio-specific parameters. The network provides the parameters to the controller over a dedicated interface, where the parameters are provided and/or changed by core systems of the network or specific applications of service platforms of the network. The controller has a mobile radio specific control part for providing access and control to the network. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling fixed mobile convergence (FMC) telecommunication services.
