The holder has a rotatable upper structure (17), and an accommodating device fixedly or detachably fastened to a lower structure (18). The accommodating device extends into a set of regions that lies below the upper structure and/or into another set of regions that is coated by a contour of the upper structure. The accommodating device is obtained from a beam (1) and formed such that objects such as tools, materials, components or containers, can be accommodated. The accommodating device has plateau shaped elements (2) for fixing the objects and securing the objects against fall.
