The system (1) has a reducing agent supply device (12) for supplying reducing agent (10) to the system along a channel. A field generating device (18) generates electrical and/or magnetic field (20) in an area of a reducing agent channel (19) for flat crystal growth of reducing agent crystals (21) i.e. urea crystals. The field generation device is provided in an area of the reducing agent supply device. The electrical and/or magnetic field is generated in such a manner that the reducing agent crystals grow into seal zones (15) of the system and/or the reducing agent supply device. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying reducing agent into an exhaust gas system of an internal-combustion engine.
