The piece (1) has channels (5, 7) taken up with a defined surface in a housing (3), where the channels have an internal thread (9). A filling opening flows perpendicularly into the channels, and the piece is made of aluminum, stainless steel, plastic or ceramic. The surface of the piece has a roughness number in the range of 0.8 to 2, and piece is parallelepiped-shaped formed. The opening is formed in a symmetry plane of the piece, and the channels are designed as boreholes in the housing to bring the thread and/or a thread section (13) into the channels. The particles are made of steel, quartz sand, plastic and ceramic. An independent claim is also included for a method for evaluation of effectiveness of a particle extraction method.
